Kalimori is a community for people with intellectual disabilities and on the autism spectrum that provides an inclusive residence model where we prioritize coexistence among peers.
Thinking about the future of our family members with disabilities is scary and uncertain. For this reason, Kalimori offers a life project that allows you to develop your skills and talents to the maximum so that you can enjoy a productive, independent life and with a sense of belonging, with unique and individual programs that adapt to the needs of each participant.
Our Methodology is a comprehensive care model based on three pillars:
Independent life
We provide an individual program where we enhance abilities and skills while accompanying the development of new objectives that strengthen their independence. We have highly trained personnel to reinforce self-care and hygiene skills, food preparation, home care and organization.
Productive and pre-employment development
Through our ceramics, cooking, horticulture, stables and farm workshops, we reinforce a healthy self-esteem respecting the processes and times of each member, providing greater meaning to daily activities, promoting an approach to a possible labor inclusion.
Recreation and Leisure
We promote recreational activities taught in the afternoons and weekends such as: sports, swimming pool, zumba, music, art and crafts.

Kalimori experience
Short-stay periods as an alternative for coexistence between peers or the possibility of enjoying vacation periods. The participants in this experience are integrated into the daily activities of the community and the dynamics of leisure and recreation. It also works as a gradual transition to the residency program

Process of
Admission
Interview via zoom
Face-to-face Evaluation Period
Four days of stay in Kalimori, where through observation we can determine if we are a space for the candidate. This period can be extended up to 7 days, prior agreement with the family and the candidate
Kalimori Facility Tour and Assessment
Free of charge
Report delivery
Based on the results, candidates are welcome to become part of the community.
